Almond Butter Cake

Ingredients:

• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
• 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup milk
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon almond extract
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch pan or two 9-inch round pans.
2. Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
3. Stir in almond extract.
4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture.
6. Pour into pan(s) and bake for 30-35 minutes.
